Nurture Day Nurseries is supported by its professional, highly motivated, friendly and compassionate team who pride themselves on delivering an exceptional service.
We have adopted a rigorous recruitment process to find the best people to look after the children in our care. All staff are CRB checked for previous criminal activity and have excellent credentials and references in their profession. Whilst CRBs are valid for 3 years, at Nurture we ensure staff are annually declaring their suitability to work with children. References from past employers are obtained and followed-up where required.
Ongoing training and development is fundamental, our nursery staff are working towards a vast array of different qualifications to enrich their careers and the quality of care they provide. We endeavour to ensure that most of our core staff undergo paediatric first aid training. For the Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager and Room Leaders this is a mandatory requirement for their role. We are incredibly proud of the qualifications our staff have and how they implement their learning into the education and care of the children. It is not uncommon at Nurture, for staff to hold university degrees in early years & childcare (BA), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and some even have their Early Years Professional Status (EYPS).
Our carers are encouraged to widen their skill base but also stay focused
on regulatory learning that is offered by the Local Authority.
